Tiffany Tenille

Cast 

She hails from Oak Park, Illinois as a multifaceted artist with experience in theatre, music, dance, photography, and pageantry. She received her BFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. Tenille's most recent on-camera work is in Numa Perrier's film 'Jezebel', where Tenille will be making her feature film debut in the title role. Tenille's career may be young, but she is undeniably a talent to look out for.

Derick Anthony

Cast 

He is a Colorado Springs, Colorado Native. He is the second child of Tamieka Boyd, a California native and the best single mother in the world. Growing up Derick spent most of his time playing sports such as football, basketball, and track & field. With the discipline and focus learned from sport, he was able to become the first in his immediate family to graduate high and college. Receiving a degree in Graphic Arts, he now resides in Los Angeles, where he’s making marks as a promising up-and-coming actor.

Thembi Banks

 She got her start in theatre when she abended Fiorello H. LaGuardia H.S and majored in dramatic arts. She received her MFA from USC's Film & TV Production program where she produced the award-winning short film Present Trauma. Thembi's writing credits include Only Light, a USC advanced project, that sheds light on the epidemic of human trafficking. The film won several awards including The Diversity in Cannes Festival and won the audience and social impact awards at The One Lens Film Festival, as well as the best screenplay award in the LA Shorts Fest.
Doors, which she wrote and directed, has screened at over a dozen festivals including The Pan African and Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festivals.

Rochée Jeffrey

WRITER

Writer/director/actor who hails originally from Jamaica. Her one- hour pilot, Unique State of Mind, co-wriTTen with her writing partner, was featured on WeForShe’s 2016 list of the Best Pilots Written by Women. She is a 2017 Film Independent Project Involve Screenwriting Fellow, FOX's 2017 HBCU Fellow and a 2018 Humanitas Prize Finalist. Rochée has written for VH1’s dramedy series DayEme Divas, the Elite Daily Show and the Step Up series on YouTube Red. Rochée is represented by The Gersh Agency and Rain Management. She is a graduate of Howard University.

Ashley Chrisman

PRODUCER

She is a film producer from the south side of Chicago. She completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and received her M.F.A in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California (USC). Her goal is to shed a different light on the everyday representations of minorities, and to find new and innovative ways to bridge the gap between community activism and filmmaking. Chrisman was a 2016 Film Independent, Project Involve Producing Fellow, and she was recently selected as a participant in the Industry Academy with the Film Society of Lincoln Center and Locarno Film Festival. She currently resides in Los Angeles and works at Women In Film, an organization that advocates for gender parity in the entertainment industry.

Aaron Edmonds

PRODUCER

He grew up in San Diego, California and abended Columbia University where he studied political science and ethnic studies. Amer graduating, Edmonds worked as a deputy campaign manager and community organizer in Harlem. In 2010, Edmonds began working at HBO where he produced and edited promotional content and behind the scenes extras. Edmonds moved to Los Angeles in 2013 and worked as a post-production coordinator. In 2016, Edmonds graduated from UCLA’s graduate Producers Program and was a 2017 Film Independent Project Involve Fellow. Edmonds currently works in production and development for the motion picture group at Lionsgate Entertainment.

Dennis Zenatta

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Director of Photography born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, currently based in Los Angeles with over a decade of experience working in narrative films, commercials, and television series in various genres. He started working in the television industry as a camera operator during his freshman year in college in 2004. After getting his bachelor’s degree in television, he moved up to work as a Director of Photography for production companies in São Paulo and in 2009, he got an offer to work in the United States. Dennis holds an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute and is a member of the ABC, Brazilian Association of Cinematography.

Melanie Annan

Her editing credits include twenty award-winning shorts. Something Fishy won an ASE award for Best Editing and Danya won Best Editing at HatchFest. Her television work is also highly regarded with the six-part Australian comedy At Home With Julia being nominated for an AACTA award for Best Television Comedy Series. In 2016 Melanie was selected to abend the Berlinale Talents Editing Studio as part of the Berlin International Film Festival. She has recently completed the narrative feature Waiting for the Miracle to Come starring Charlobe Rampling, Willie Nelson and Sophie Lowe.

 is a costume designer and stylist who lives and works between NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES, NEW ORLEANS and INTERNATIONALLY. She is a multifaceted designer & artist specializing in costume design, jewelry design, and wardrobe styling. Born and raised in the suburbs of Washington D.C. She received her B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and Marking at Philadelphia University. Her costume design credits include Sundance films: Newlyweeds and The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete (Starring Jennifer Hudson). TriBeCa films: Little Boxes (Starring the late Nelsan Ellis) & Vincent n Roxxy (Starring Zoë Kravitz and Emile Hirsch). She also styled the 2017 super bowl commercial "Wanna Sprite?" featuring Lil Yachty and LeBron James. She is currently the ACD of Future Man, starring Seth Rogan, premiering November 2017 on Hulu.

GREG HEDGEPATH

SOUND DESIGN

Supervising Sound Editor GREG HEDGEPATH has worked in film and television sound for more than 20 years. He is a two-Eme Golden Reel Award winner whose career highlights also include creating the sound effects for the tornados in Twister and the giant bug-like aliens in Starship Troopers. Among his many other credits are Punisher: War Zone, The Incredible Hulk, Ghost Rider, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Blade and Selma.
Hedgepath began his career with NPR, gaining valuable experience in recording radio dramas, live music and remote sessions. He got his start in film via Lucasfilm and later worked as a sound editor, sound designer, re-recording mixer and supervising sound editor at Sony, Warner Bros. and Danetracks (as well as a previous stint at Soundelux).

Judi Bell

PRODUCTION DESIGN

Judi Bell is a detail-oriented creative Production Designer, whose interest in the arts began at a young age. She was drawing, painting, hand-lettering, doing papier-mâché, sculpting, making jewelry, metalworking, printing, drawing, sewing, and designing before she was even a teenager. Following her natural artistic talent, she then pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in design and marketing, and a Master’s Degree in color science with a minor in computer science. Judi has worked on many studio films, like Die Hard, Ace Ventura, O, The Patriot, and Carrie, since 1991 & TV Productions, like Brothers & Sisters.

Jacques Brautbar

He is a Sundance Institute fellow and ASCAP scholarship recipient. He combines traditional orchestral colors with the palates of electronic and etherial sonic art.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jacques began his professional music career at the age of fifteen as a founder, guitar player, arranger and songwriter for Sony recording artist Phantomplanet. While with Phantomplanet, Jacques collaborated on the band's three singles, "Lonely Day," "Big Brat," and the theme song to the hit show The O.C, “California.” Amer a decade with the band, Jacques signed with Sony/Atv publishing and produced hundreds of songs spanning pop, hip-hop and rock genres. It was during this Eme that he recognized a desire within to write music for visual storytelling.
